i have been listening to avalanche city pretty much non-stop now for about 3 or 4 weeks. it is lovely folky music, written and played by a guy who comes from my country by the name of dave baxter. if you have a wee visit to the link below you can download the album for free (legally) it is wonderful, do it, do it!

this is kimbra's latest which got her a bunch of attention from perez hilton. currently living in melbourne but originally from my city, she used to play songs while we sat on cushions and drank hot chocolates in the dark with tea light candles.
